Ministry exposes that brand: Products sold as herbal mixtures were actually drugs!

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues its strict inspections of food products. In the latest inspections conducted by the ministry, drug ingredients were detected in products offered for sale as herbal paste by a food marketing company located in Kartal, Istanbul.

It has been revealed that the honey-based 'herbal mixture' paste under the 'Lukaçi' brand, produced by the company Pekmez Dünyası Gıda Pazarlama located in Kartal, Istanbul, contained active drug ingredients.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to publish its lists of 'Foods That Endanger Health' and 'Foods Subject to Imitation and Adulteration' on its website.

Consumers can access these lists at any time on the ministry's official website by selecting a time period and product group.

Products marketed and offered for sale as 'herbal paste' were also included in the ministry's latest inspections.

THE MINISTRY EXPOSED THAT BRAND

As a result of the inspections, 'active drug ingredients' were detected in products marketed in this manner.

According to the list, active drug ingredients were found in the 'Lukaçi' brand honey-based herbal paste and 'herbal mixture' paste produced by the company Pekmez Dünyası Gıda Pazarlama, located in Kartal, Istanbul.

ALSO DETECTED IN COFFEE

Drugs were also detected in the Vıejo Resveratrol Mozambique brand coffee produced by Gold İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret Şirketi.
