Miss Universe from North America: She makes history for Nicaragua

In El Salvador, the winner of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant has been determined.

The pageant was won by Nicaraguan beauty Sheynnis Palacios, who stood out with her beauty and her answers to the jury.

The 23-year-old beauty worked in the media sector after completing her university education in communications. The young beauty, who works as a producer and editor, also stated that she started a project called "Understand Your Mind" because she experienced anxiety attacks. Through this project, she aims to teach people the importance of mental health.

In the final stage of the competition, the three finalists were asked, "If you could live the life of another woman for a year, who would you choose?" Sheynnis Palacios chose women's rights advocate Mary Wollstonecraft. Palacios said, "She filled an important gap and provided opportunities for many women."

Nicaraguan beauty Palacios became the first person in her country's history to win this award. Thailand finished the competition in second place and Australia in third.
