Model Merve Taşkın explains her reason for leaving Turkey: 'I couldn't withstand the pressure'
Model Merve Taşkın, who was tried on charges of obscenity, has left Turkey and settled in Bali. Taşkın explained her reason for leaving Turkey with these words: "I moved because I could no longer withstand Turkey's pressure regarding me being an obscene individual."
Young model Merve Taşkın was tried in recent weeks on allegations of sharing obscene content on certain foreign websites.
Following the hearing of her case, Merve Taşkın was acquitted.
Taşkın announced that she has moved to Bali, an island in Indonesia.
'I COULDN'T WITHSTAND THE PRESSURE'
Explaining her reason for leaving Turkey, Merve Taşkın stated, "I moved out of my country because I could no longer withstand the court cases I have experienced in Turkey to date and Turkey's pressure regarding me being an obscene individual. I would like to thank everyone who has always supported me throughout this process once again."
