The national team continues to be a subject of debate after suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat against Portugal in their second match in Group F at Euro 2024. Head coach Vincenzo Montella's squad selection left its mark on the match.

Montella, who started Real Madrid's young star Arda Güler on the bench and brought him into the game in the 70th minute, stated after the match that Arda Güler was not in a condition to play for more than 30 minutes.

Arda Güler worked separately from the team during the training sessions held ahead of the Czechia match that the National Team will play on Wednesday. In the footage of the training session, the moments when Montella took the bib from Arda Güler's hand sparked discussions on social media about the young player being subjected to mobbing.

While many figures shared reactions to Montella's actions, one of the harshest statements came from famous singer Mustafa Sandal. In a post on his social media account, Sandal used the following expressions:

Singer Sinan Akçıl was also among the names who reacted to Montella. In his post, Akçıl stated, "If you, Montella, are demoralizing this very respectful and very talented child, we are on your case, Italian 'Jön' (heartthrob), be aware of that."
