Motorcyclist hit by tram in Fatih dies in hospital
In Istanbul's Fatih district, the motorcyclist who was severely injured after being hit by a tram has lost his life at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar tram, which was operating its route, hit motorcyclist İsmail Kurt near the Laleli Stop yesterday.
The motorcycle rider, who became trapped between the tracks and the tram, was rescued by fire department crews.
The driver, who was severely injured, had been taken to the hospital by medical teams.
The motorcyclist, who was severely injured as a result of being hit by the tram, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital where he was being treated.
