Murat Ünalmış, who threw the election bag in the trash: 'I have never fawned over anyone, I do not support any party'

Actor Murat Ünalmış, who has starred in productions such as 'Sevda Kuşun Kanadında', 'Yer Gök Aşk', 'Bir Zamanlar Çukurova', and 'Gülcemal', had made headlines for throwing away gifts and brochures hung on his door on behalf of AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum.

Sharing the moment he threw the bag in the trash on his Instagram account, Ünalmış had used the words, "Their filth wasn't enough, now they've hung their trash on our garden gate!"

This time, Ünalmış made headlines with his response to a follower's comment that read, "I interpreted it as him wanting a job."

Ünalmış used the following expressions in his comment:

"I guess you thought everyone was like you. In my life, regardless of the side, I have never fawned over anyone, and I have never sought any benefit from anyone, thank God. The work I have done to this day was not bestowed upon me by anyone. I did it with my own talent and hard work. Those who know me know very well that I do not support any party politically. I do think there is a political and moral collapse in Turkey, yes. I am neither the first person to say this, nor will I be the last. I also feel sorry for those who try to drag the reaction video, where I threw away the thing they left at our door under the guise of a gift, as if their environmental pollution wasn't enough, into a political context."
