Mustafa Sandal calls for the resignation of Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu

The Newborn Gang, which caused the deaths of numerous babies by transferring newborns to private hospitals for illicit profit, has become the primary agenda in Turkey.

Following the scandal, public backlash against Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu continues.

Famous singer Mustafa Sandal also criticized Memişoğlu harshly in a statement he made on his social media account.

Tagging the Ministry of Health in his post, Sandal addressed Memişoğlu with the following words:

"The biggest scandal in our history has erupted, babies have been killed for money, and the Health Minister says, 'The public is being kept busy with the newborn gang.' It is not a distraction, this is our main issue! You should get busy too and ensure those hospitals that are still open are shut down! If you cannot do it, you will resign; you will not 'occupy' that seat!"
