Singer Gülben Ergen reacted to Didem Arslan Yılmaz's statement. Posting on her X account, Ergen criticized Arslan with the words, "What do you mean 'according to my source'? Our hearts are burning. Didem Arslan Yılmaz's response to Gülben Ergen's words was not delayed.

Speaking on the program she hosts, Yılmaz said, "Those who ask, 'What is your news source?' and then share this on social media... What can I say... If they can speak, if they can manage it, they should try singing a song. Okay, my friend? You try singing a song first. You can never have the audacity to ask a journalist, 'What is your news source?' Who are you? You have been tweeting for days and trying to profit from this incident. Shame on you.
