69-year-old artist Nazan Öncel was hospitalized in recent weeks due to health issues. Öncel announced that after going to the hospital with complaints of heart palpitations, an angiogram resulted in the insertion of two stents. Sharing an update on her health, Öncel said, "Everything started with a heart palpitation. One thing led to another, and we ended up with two brand-new stents. Let's say we're doing well, so we can be well."

In a statement made via social media, Öncel thanked everyone who sent their well wishes, stating, "It turns out one needs to get the body used to a little joy. A thousand thanks to everyone who called, asked after me, and sincerely sent their get-well wishes. May you always be well."

'MY VETERAN HEART PLAYED A JOKE'

The artist had previously announced that she was taken to the hospital by ambulance on May 8 and shared her experience with her followers during that process. Describing her situation with a touch of humor, Öncel said, "I'm not saying this to upset or scare anyone, but I think my veteran heart played a joke on me. As I said, 'Life is but a span,' but we pulled through." She also apologized to her fans for being unable to attend her concert and noted that tickets would remain valid.
