Nejat İşler: The public is looking for a hero, but I am not a hero
Actor Nejat İşler has denied reports claiming that he requested scholarships for 5,000 students in exchange for his fee from a bank commercial.
Famous actor Nejat İşler was spotted in Beyoğlu the other evening.
Speaking briefly to journalists, İşler addressed the claims that he had received an offer to do a voice-over for a bank commercial and had requested scholarships for 5,000 students instead of payment.
Stating that he had made no such request, İşler said, "I wish it were so. There is no such thing. I don't earn money like that. I mean, I can't say something like that in return for it. Scholarships for 5,000 students? I mean, sure, the public is looking for a hero, but I am not a hero. I am just doing my job," he said.
