New statement regarding Metin Uca's health status
Television programmer and presenter Metin Uca was involved in a traffic accident last Friday after suffering a medical episode while driving in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli. A new statement has been released regarding the health status of Uca, who had the accident due to a carotid artery blockage and a blood clot, and was subsequently taken into surgery.

Dear friends, our valued supporters, I am receiving thousands of messages from those waiting for updates on Metin Uca's health. Having so many people who care for him both makes me happy and moves me. I felt the need to make this post to ease your concerns and bring you some happiness.
Our dear Metin's health is improving day by day. The reason he has been in intensive care for 9 days is as a precautionary measure for the importance of immediate monitoring.
His doctors say that he will be discharged soon and will return to his former health in a short time with additional treatment to be continued at home.
Our precious Metin Uca will remain away from you for a while longer, upon the recommendation of his doctors, due to the risk of infection and additional treatment.
We thank you in advance for your sensitivity and understanding.
