Singer Lara, who announced that she was stranded in Iran, has announced that she has returned to Turkey.
Singer Lara, who married Iranian volleyball player Mehdi Karimi in 2023, became stranded in Iran while visiting family.
As the Israel-Iran conflict continued, Lara shared a post on her social media account, stating, "I am in Iran, the situation here is very critical. It was very difficult for me to access social media. Our phones are not working, and we cannot access the internet. Please keep us in your prayers. May God be with the honorable people of Iran."
The 46-year-old singer announced in a new post that she has returned to Turkey.
Expressing the fear and stress she experienced in a post from the border gate, Lara said the following:
“Thank God. I am so sad and stressed that I cannot describe it... I just want to say this: You are a murderer, Israel!”
