Appearing as a guest on Saba Tümer’s YouTube program, Nilüfer stated that she wrote the songs she made as a result of the heartbreak she experienced.

Nilüfer said the following:

"I am someone who writes my songs as a result of the heartbreak I suffer. People listen to my songs like ‘Erkekler Ağlamaz’, ‘İnkar Etme’, ‘Karar Verdim’, and ‘Olmadı Yar’ and ask me, ‘Why don’t you write anymore?’ There is no love, there is no productivity. And let it be that way. Should I suffer from heartbreak at this age and end up in the grave? My heart can't take it anymore."

Saying, "Maybe I can get married when I turn 80, but I want peace and tranquility in my life now," Nilüfer also answered the question about aesthetics as follows:

“Aesthetics is a sensitive subject for me. I am very afraid of both the surgery and not getting the result I want. Eyebrows, eyes, lips, they are all the same. I think it is a very unnecessary thing. Besides, I am not someone who entered this industry with a ‘beautiful woman’ image. I sing songs. I think they are in a difficult situation. Because everyone will age. Sometimes, I get comments on social media like, ‘Oh, she has aged so much, she is finished, what a pity.’ I wish everyone would age like me and look like this."
