Out-of-wedlock birth map released: See where Turkey ranks
Data analysis company Landgeist has published a map of out-of-wedlock births in Europe. Iceland tops the list at 69.4%, while Turkey ranks last at 2.8%.
At a time when the revelation that veteran actor Metin Akpınar has twin daughters from an extramarital affair is being discussed, data analysis company Landgeist has conducted a noteworthy study.
As a result of the research, they have published a map of out-of-wedlock births in Europe.
ICELAND AT THE TOP, TURKEY AT THE BOTTOM
It was revealed that the highest number of children born out of wedlock are in Iceland, France, and Portugal. While Iceland tops the list with 69.4%, France follows in second place with 63.5%, and Portugal ranks third with 60.0%.
Turkey, on the other hand, ranked last on the out-of-wedlock birth map with 2.8%.
The countries closest to Turkey in terms of percentage were Belarus with 13.0% and Macedonia with 13.7%.
