Outcry from Güzide Duran: Everything Is Being Done to Prevent Me From Moving On With My Life!

Güzide Duran, whose 17-year husband Adnan Aksoy filed for divorce citing 'infidelity', was spotted with former Beşiktaş Club president Fikret Orman last July. After an initial moment of panic, Duran then posed with her partner. 

Shortly after, Adnan Aksoy targeted Güzide Duran on his social media account:

"I am Adnan Aksoy. No person with any morality or conscience would ever approve of or accept these shameful images! Because the divorce case is still ongoing, and unfortunately, this individual still carries my surname. Let alone respect for the marital union, this lifestyle and recklessness is, at the very least, a betrayal of the children she left behind. While she goes from program to program emphasizing being a 'good mother and a good wife,' it has now become crystal clear how she masked this long-standing lifestyle. Unfortunately, as a result of this individual's choices, our children and I have been forced to endure a process we in no way deserve. I leave everyone to their own conscience."

Photos of Güzide Duran, who is continuing her relationship with Fikret Orman, kissing her partner were published today. The former model expressed her outrage in a statement posted on her social media account.

"I am being held, as if by force, in a marriage that has left me with nothing but bad memories—aside from my children—and from which I have been trying to divorce for a long time due to severe incompatibility, despite having no financial demands. I want a divorce, but I cannot get divorced. I am trapped in a divorce case where everything is being done to ensure I cannot move on with my life and to keep me essentially captive. I hope to be able to divorce so that I can exercise my right to live and have a private life to the fullest."
