Actor Ozan Güven, who was recently sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for assaulting his former girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz, has withdrawn from his lead role in the "7 Kocalı Hürmüz" musical following significant controversy. Güven requested to be excused from the project, in which he was set to star alongside model and presenter Çağla Şıkel, after facing a wave of backlash.
Çağla Şıkel had previously expressed support for Deniz Bulutsuz. However, the announcement that Şıkel would share the lead role with Ozan Güven in the "7 Kocalı Hürmüz" musical sparked a major debate on social media. Following the criticism directed at Şıkel, Güven decided to withdraw from the project.
