Last appearing in the series 'Merhamet' in 2014, Özgü Namal is returning to sets after 9 years.

Namal, who will share the lead role with Özcan Deniz in the series 'Kızıl Goncalar', which will begin filming at the end of the month, commented, "Everything is going very well. We are excited. May God not let us be embarrassed."

In the series, Özgü Namal will bring to life Meryem, the daughter-in-law of a conservative family.

Namal's partner in the series is Mert Turak.
