Özkan Uğur's son Alişan Uğur: 'I cannot believe my father has passed away'

Özkan Uğur's son Alişan Uğur: 'I cannot believe my father has passed away'

Özkan Uğur, one of the members of MFÖ, was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2013 and had overcome the disease following a treatment process.

Özkan Uğur, whose illness recurred, passed away on July 8 after a 1.5-month intensive care process.

The famous singer's son, Alişan Uğur, born from his marriage to Aysun Aslan (Uğur), whom he married in 1989, attended the 6th BAU Radio MüzikOnair Awards held the other day.

28-year-old Alişan Uğur took his place at the event for his father's memorial ceremony.

Speaking on stage, Uğur stated the following:

"My father is still among us with his songs and his films. I still cannot believe he has passed away."
