Israel, which has recently begun striking tents in the Rafah Camp—the only place left to take shelter in Gaza—has drawn the reaction of the world.
Author Azra Kohen, who stated that Palestinians have no right to life, implied that the child deaths in Gaza were staged.
'I WISH FOR EVERYONE TO DISAPPEAR'
Claiming that Palestinians intentionally leave their children under bombs to create international public opinion, Kohen made the following statements on the subject:
"I have said it many times. Let me say it again. I wish for everyone who can take their own child to a place where a bomb is announced to be dropped 3 hours in advance via megaphone and where they are loudly warned, sit them down where the bomb will be dropped, move to a corner, and film a video of it, to disappear!
And I pray every day for those children to be saved, to be saved from those disgusting creatures who put them in the bomb zone to film videos of them... A being with the ability to analyze humans should be an entity with the capacity to analyze the conditions of a video being filmed. I wish for you to see what is as it is. No one who cannot protect their child and uses them as bait deserves to live!"
'THE STATE OF ISRAEL IS UNFORGIVABLE!'
Azra Kohen made a statement following her controversial remarks. Kohen said, "First of all, my maiden name is Sarızeybek. I was born and raised in a Muslim family. Because I am a mother, I am someone who already feels incredibly noble emotions for all children in the world, regardless of language, religion, or race, and who suffers very serious heartaches because of these emotions.
The reaction I gave is a reaction to those who lead to the abuse of children so that videos can be filmed. There are too many of them. Because there are children who have been killed just so we can share them on social media. I did not say a single word to the mothers. I find the state of Israel unforgivable. No one can say that I hold a different view."
CLOSED HER ACCOUNT
Following all these events, Kohen closed her Instagram account, which had 270 thousand followers.
It was learned that Kohen has been receiving death threats via social media.
