After announcing that she and Anıl Altan have parted ways, Pelin Akil removed the surname Altan from her Instagram profile.
Pelin Akil and Anıl Altan met on the set of the series 'Arka Sıradakiler' and married in 2016. The couple's twin daughters, Alin and Lina, were born in 2019. However, rumors had recently emerged that dark clouds were gathering over the couple and that they would be divorcing.
Pelin Akil announced the decision to separate with the following words:
"We have parted ways as husband and wife. Other than that, we will always be together because we have children. We already love each other and we are always together."
Following this statement, Akil made a notable change to her social media account by removing the surname Altan, which she had been using for a long time.
