Free Workshop from Pera Museum for March 8 International Women's Day: 'Art as a Superpower'

Pera Learning has announced that it is organizing a workshop titled "Art as a Superpower" in honor of International Women's Day.

Inspired by women artists who have fought great battles to exist in the art world, the workshop focuses on art's power to create spaces for freedom of expression and solidarity, and will be offered to participants free of charge.

The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum Learning Programs is celebrating International Women's Day with a workshop titled "Art as a Superpower." Starting from the women artists who have fought great battles to exist in the art world, the workshop explores how art can be used as a practice of empowerment.

THE WORKSHOP FOCUSES ON THE 'SUPERPOWER' OF ART

In the workshop, participants engage in artistic production using various materials and art therapy tools while exploring the transformative effect of art.

Focusing on art's power to create spaces for freedom of expression and solidarity, the event aims to provide women with a new perspective through creative processes.

THE WORKSHOP WILL TAKE PLACE ON MARCH 7

The "Art as a Superpower" workshop, which will be led by artist and author Karin Özdemirci, who combines her experience in art management and visual arts with disciplines such as ceramics, mosaics, and wood carving, and psychologist Virna Gülzari, who conducts work in the fields of clinical psychology and art therapy, will take place on Friday, March 7, at 18.00.
