Pınar Kerimoğlu announces update on Nihal Candan's health: 'They managed to restart her heart'

Phenomenon sisters Nihal and Bahar Candan, who made a name for themselves through the fashion competitions they participated in, were arrested in November 2023 on charges of "fraud" and "money laundering." Nihal Candan, who was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa while in prison, was released shortly ago due to health issues.

"SHE DROPPED TO 23 KILOGRAMS"

Nihal Candan's mother, Umut Candan, had announced that her daughter had dropped to 23 kilograms during this process and that her organs were failing.

Umut Candan had stated regarding her daughter's health condition: "We are facing the risk of death; she is on a machine. She dropped to 23 kilograms. All her organs are in a state of failure. We need prayers."

Nihal Candan's close family friend Pınar Kerimoğlu shared a distressing update regarding Candan on her social media account.

Kerimoğlu claimed that Nihal Candan's heart had stopped and that CPR was performed.

Making a subsequent post, Kerimoğlu stated that she had spoken with Candan's mother and used the expressions, "They managed to restart her heart. They said the next 24 hours are critical."
