Eric Carmen, the lead singer of the Raspberries known for the song "All By Myself," has passed away at the age of 74.
Singer-songwriter Eric Carmen, known for his hit song All By Myself, has died at the age of 74.
Eric Carmen, the iconic lead singer of the early 70s pop group Raspberries, had also drawn attention with his song Hungry Eyes, in addition to All By Myself.
In a statement on his official website, Carmen's wife, Amy, said, "Our sweet, loving and talented Eric passed away in his sleep over the weekend."
The cause of Carmen's death was not disclosed.
