A written statement was issued by MESAM, which is represented in 182 countries and has 14,000 members from the art community.

The following statements were included in the written announcement:

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of hundreds of civilians as a result of the Gaza Hospital Massacre, which is unprecedented in human history, by Israel.

The targeting of a hospital housing innocent children and women who have been displaced from their homes, a situation in which international law and human rights are violated, is absolutely unacceptable. We condemn the attacks carried out with hatred and share the pain of the Palestinian people. We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attacks and a speedy recovery to the injured," it was stated.
