Reason for singer Emirkan's assault revealed

Famous singer Emirkan was assaulted on October 24, 2023, in the Şenlikköy neighborhood of Bakırköy, Istanbul.

'HE WAS ASSAULTED AND INJURED'

In a statement made by Emirkan's lawyer, it was stated, "My client Emirkan Yıldız and his dear wife Serap Yıldız were first subjected to verbal harassment while picking up their children from school, and were then assaulted and injured by the bodyguard of the lady who was harassing them.

My client, who suffered a fracture in his body as a result of the assault, underwent a very difficult surgery. His health condition is currently good. We respectfully inform the public that we have filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against those responsible for this terrible and sad incident and those involved."

12PUNTO OBTAINS EMİRKAN'S STATEMENT

Following the complaint of Emirkan Yıldız, who was revealed to have undergone surgery at the hospital, the police launched an investigation into the incident.

In his statement, Yıldız stated that he came to the college located on Pars Street in Bakırköy with his wife to pick up their child on the day of the incident, saying, "I parked the vehicle. Then my wife said, 'Come immediately.' When she called me on the phone, I went. I saw a black vehicle stopped behind my vehicle.

There was a woman and a man at the front of my vehicle. Seeing that they were waiting for me, I said, 'Excuse me.' The person whose name I later heard was Fatih said to me, 'Move your vehicle or I will break your bones.' I moved my vehicle without saying anything," he stated.

HE UNDERWENT SURGERY

Stating in his testimony that he went to the person who spoke harshly to him after moving his vehicle, Yıldız described those moments according to the allegations as follows:

“When I went to the person and asked, 'What kind of tone is this?', this person, whose name I heard as Fatih, punched me on the right side of my face without saying anything. I fell to the ground.”

Stating that he was taken to the hospital with the help of those around him, Yıldız expressed that he suffered a fracture in his shoulder and underwent surgery.

THEIR IDENTITIES WERE DETERMINED

Following Yıldız's allegations, the police launched a comprehensive investigation. As a result of the work carried out, it was determined that the woman Yıldız filed a complaint against was Yeşim Y., and the person who assaulted him was Fatih Ö.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
