Recording device crisis on Survivor: Acun Ilıcalı responds to Yılmaz Morgül's complaint about Bayhan

Acun Ilıcalı has provided the expected response to Yılmaz Morgül, who criticized the provision of recording equipment to Bayhan on the Survivor competition via social media. Ilıcalı did not remain indifferent to Morgül's words, expressing that the perception of inequality created in the competition also saddened him.

Ilıcalı expressed both his affection for Yılmaz Morgül and his embarrassment over the incident leading to misunderstandings.

Ilıcalı said the following in his statement:

"Dear Yılmaz Morgül, you made a statement on your social media account today saying, 'I asked for only a pen and paper to write lyrics and compose songs on Survivor, but it wasn't given. Yet you are gifting a recording device to Bayhan to compose songs.'

I find your complaint justified and I choose to apologize to dear Yılmaz.

Yılmaz, I truly love you very much. We haven't been able to meet either. I am embarrassed. You are right in whatever you say about this matter. You are very valuable to us. The season you participated in is a legendary season for us. We would like to see you in an All Star. I swear I didn't know about it; I was saddened when I heard."

On the other hand, Yılmaz Morgül's accounts of his Survivor experience have come to the fore once again. The 62-year-old artist recalled that during the period he joined the competition, his participation was tied to certain charitable conditions, and that support was provided to many children during his 2016 adventure.

Morgül stated that he started with a two-week participation agreement, stayed in the competition for three months due to his high ratings, and lost significant weight during the process, expressing his experience with these words:

"They told Acun Ilıcalı, 'Yılmaz is not like the artists you know. Do you want to bring this man to Survivor? You can convince him if you do this.' They said if you make a donation to the 25 sick children's associations and foundations I work with, you can take him. I initially agreed for 2 weeks, but I stayed for 3 months because my ratings were high. I went at 72 kilos and dropped to 58. I ended up in the hospital. If I were on Survivor now, no one could stand against me. I love Adem, he doesn't fight. The only champion in my heart is Nagihan Karadere."
