The statement noted, "During the initial intervention process at the patient's home, during the transfer phase, and throughout his stay at our hospital—a period during which he was intubated and unconscious—there were no findings or information regarding any substance use, contrary to what has been claimed in some social media posts in recent days. The unfounded and speculative posts circulating in the public domain do not align with medical facts."
Artist Fatih Ürek passed away on January 30 after receiving treatment in the hospital for a long period following a heart attack he suffered on October 15, 2025. It was alleged that Fatih Ürek, who died on January 30, had passed away due to drug use. The hospital where Ürek was treated has issued a statement on the matter.

"On October 15, 2025, artist Fatih Ürek was brought to Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul by 112 Emergency Ambulance teams in an intubated state. Following his admission to our hospital, all necessary emergency and advanced life support interventions were fully implemented by our relevant specialist physicians.
During the initial intervention process at the patient's home, during the transfer phase, and throughout his stay at our hospital—a period during which he was intubated and unconscious—there were no findings or information regarding any substance use, contrary to what has been claimed in some social media posts in recent days. The unfounded and speculative posts circulating in the public domain do not align with medical facts. This statement has become necessary in order to inform the public accurately."
