Response to claims that Yeşilçam's 'dimpled beauty' Bahar Öztan has been intubated

It was claimed that Yeşilçam star Bahar Öztan, who is battling colon cancer and has previously beaten the disease three times, had been taken to intensive care and intubated. Öztan's son, Yiğit Çolak, made a statement regarding the claims.

In his statement to Habertürk, Çolak said, "It is not true that my mother has been intubated. Yes, her standard treatment continues at the hospital. She is not in intensive care either. Of course, we always appreciate your prayers."

SHE HAD MADE A STATEMENT IN RECENT MONTHS

In recent months, Öztan had said, "Greetings and love to everyone. It has been a long time since I wrote to you; I came to the hospital in Istanbul yesterday. My esteemed doctors' decision is that I will undergo surgery next week. As always, I need your prayers and love."

Previously, Öztan had stated, "I have gone through major illnesses that many people would not be able to handle. I am a strong woman and I have stood very strong. Besides that, thank you so much to my loved ones and those who love me. My fans, friends, and acquaintances have all sent me their prayers and beautiful energy. It is thanks to them that I have reached these days. Of course, it was also through the great efforts and endeavors of our doctors; we must not forget them either."
