Sacit Aslan reveals the truth about Can Tanrıyar and Muhammed Yakut
Journalist Sacit Aslan made striking statements regarding Can Tanrıyar, who was arrested on allegations of collaborating with Muhammed Yakut. Aslan stated, "Can Tanrıyar claimed in court that he did not know Muhammed Yakut."
The collaboration between Muhammed Yakut, who became a trending topic with the videos he filmed on YouTube and was later captured in Spain, and Can Tanrıyar was revealed, leading to Tanrıyar's arrest.
Journalist Sacit Aslan made a bombshell claim regarding the matter.
In his writing, Aslan stated that Can Tanrıyar claimed in court that he did not know Muhammed Yakut.
'HE WILL BLAME ALL THE ACCUSATIONS ON HIM'
Sacit Aslan, who said, "In his letters, Can Efendi claims that Muhammed Yakut, whom he still calls 'my brother,' will be turned into a confessor by those actually behind the organization upon his return to Turkey, and that they will pin all the blame on him!" used the following expressions: "It's unbelievable! Yakut is supposedly going to return to Turkey and dump all the accusations on Can Efendi! Can found this out and is already taking his own precautions! If you believe it...! So, the industrialist brother didn't just sell out Muhammed Yakut, he sold him out completely!"
Aslan alleged that Tanrıyar claimed in court that he did not know Muhammed Yakut and had only met him twice.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into Muhammed Yakut's social media video posts. In this context, it was noted that there were findings that Can Tanrıyar had provided information, documents, and photographs to Muhammed Yakut to be used in his video posts, and that the suspects had acted in concert during and before the video sharing process.
Furthermore, it was alleged that Tanrıyar, together with Muhammed Yakut, "engaged in an attempted qualified extortion against another person in unity of thought and action." Following these findings, upon the prosecutor's office's instruction, Can Tanrıyar was detained at his home in Beşiktaş on April 30, 2023, and was subsequently arrested.
