Gülben Ergen, who visited Ankaralı Turgut recently, wrote the following note: "Ankaralı Turgut, you are not alone. You are our Ankaralı Turgut, whom all producers chased after and television programs were eager to host. This illness has saddened and exhausted my brother Turgut. He could not afford the smart drug treatment. He has moved into his daughter's house. He is trying to find morale with his grandchildren and children. His lyrics, compositions, and energy do not deserve this bitterness. I am by your side, dear Turgut. Powerful producers, my dear colleagues, music unions, good people, come on, let's all get to work."
