Sad news from famous actress Filiz Akın
The legendary name of Yeşilçam, famous actress Filiz Akın, has been hospitalized and taken under treatment due to health issues. Akın had previously received treatment in the hospital. Akın had also been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer but managed to defeat the cancer.
81-year-old Filiz Akın, who has previously undergone cancer treatment twice, was also hospitalized last November and discharged after a while. The veteran actress, whose health problems continue, has been taken under treatment again at a hospital in Bodrum.

SHE HAD PREVIOUSLY DEFEATED CANCER
Filiz Akın, who left her mark on a period of Turkish cinema, was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal (nasal) cancer in 2002. Challenging the disease, which was revealed to be in the second stage, the actress managed to defeat the cancer as a result of the treatments.
Stating, "I received a very aggressive treatment," Akın had to undergo consecutive operations in 2022 and 2023 due to cancerous tissue on the upper part of her left ear and problems she experienced with her vocal cords.
