Experienced presenter and author Ayşenur Yazıcı has been admitted to intensive care.

Her son, Kerem Kürşat Yazıcı, made a statement on Yazıcı's X account, stating that his mother has been in intensive care for 2 days and that she is in need of blood, requesting assistance.

Kerem Kürşat Yazıcı shared the following message from his mother's X account:

"Good evening. My mother, Ayşenur Süral Yazıcı, has been in the intensive care unit for 2 days. The hospital told us that the blood type is not very common. We need to find 3 units of blood tomorrow by going to any Kızılay center on the Anatolian side and stating that it is 'for Ayşenur Süral Yazıcı at Başkent University on the Anatolian side.' I need your help for my mother to hold on to life."

WHO IS AYŞENUR YAZICI?

Presenter and author Ayşenur Yazıcı was born on September 13, 1958, in Elazığ. She stepped into the television world in 1983 at TRT.

Between 1990 and 2011, she worked as a news anchor and program presenter on private television channels and TRT. She has received more than 50 awards in this profession. She was deemed worthy of the "Best User of Turkish" award, the highest title given by the Turkish Language Association.

The 66-year-old famous presenter, who has written 13 books to date, was awarded the "TV Family Media Ethics of the Year" award after the program titled Sütlü Kahve, which aired on TRT 1, was discontinued.
