According to the report in Milliyet, Apak responded to the claims that 'Avrupa Yakası' would be remade by saying, "There is no such thing. Perhaps they associated it with her because Gülse Birsel is going to do a new project. Whenever Gülse calls me, I am there. I have a different bond with her.
