Scandalous allegations from the wife of Erhan Çelik, ex-husband of Gülben Ergen! 'Adultery' and 'violence': She demands 50 million lira in compensation

According to the report by Özge Eğrikar from Hürriyet, the couple's marital union was shaken to its core due to the physical and psychological actions Erhan Çelik allegedly inflicted upon his wife, Özlem Gültekin.

ADULTERY AND COMPENSATION LAWSUIT

Özlem Gültekin filed for divorce, demanding 50 million lira in compensation on the grounds of 'adultery' and the 'irretrievable breakdown of the marital union,' alleging that her husband committed adultery with other women, did not come home for weeks by using business trips as an excuse, and failed to support her or their child by constantly being occupied with his phone.

15 MILLION LIRA PROMISSORY NOTE

Following the divorce filing, Özlem Gültekin submitted a criminal complaint to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, alleging that her husband, Erhan Çelik, subjected her to hours of violence and forced her to sign a 15 million lira promissory note and a contested divorce protocol that favored him entirely, through threats and blackmail.

"YOU CANNOT DIVORCE ME, I WILL KILL YOU"

In the criminal complaint petition submitted to the prosecutor's office, Özlem Gültekin's lawyer, Altın Mimir, alleged that Erhan Çelik insulted his client, saying, "You cannot divorce me, I will kill you. I will end your professional career, I will take the child from you. I will leave you penniless."

The criminal complaint petition stated, "We are submitting the footage of the promissory note, which our client signed in fear and pain, to the file as evidence. Looking at the note, it will be understood that our client signed it with trembling hands. We request that an investigation be launched against Erhan Çelik for the crimes of 'blackmail,' 'qualified extortion,' 'threat,' and 'insult,' and that he be punished."

Erhan Çelik has not yet made a statement regarding the allegations against him.
