Serdar Ortaç: Gambling ruined me
Singer Serdar Ortaç made a striking confession about his life. Ortaç said, "There was a time when I couldn't find a place to put my money. But gambling ruined me."
Serdar Ortaç was a guest on the program 'Alişan ile Hayata Gülümse'. Making candid statements, the singer said that his life was darkened by his passion for gambling.
'NO ONE CAN WIN'
Ortaç, who had 10 million TL in debt to banks due to gambling and paid off these debts some time ago, said: "Deaths, losing a lot of money, and gambling a lot ruined me. It's gone now, but it's too late. I swear they cannot win.
If they win 1 on Monday, they lose 2 on Wednesday. If they lose themselves, 10 goes. To get that 10 lira back, 10 years of your life go. No one can win; if anyone could win, I would have, I've been playing for 35 years."
'A PERSON ONLY EARNS FROM THEIR PROFESSION'
Continuing his words, Ortaç stated: "A person only earns from their profession. Maybe what they earn from their profession feels like too little, but you cannot win from gambling. I lived in the best houses, I rode in the best cars. I experienced the most luxurious of everything. There is no such life. One shouldn't envy anyone either."
