Master actress Nebahat Çehre, who is etched in memory for her role as Firdevs Yöreoğlu in the series Aşk-ı Memnu, had a stent placed in her heart in May.
The 80-year-old actress made a statement regarding her health. Speaking to Snob Magazin, Çehre said, "I am fine. A clot formed and a stent was placed. It was not a heart attack. Everything happened one after another. We took some time to rest. Also, it is incredibly hot. We went out because there is a bit of a breeze."
Nebahat Çehre's manager, Selçuk Kaya, had stated in May, "Our valuable actress Nebahat Çehre's health is good. She is resting at home. We thank everyone who called and asked individually. Hoping to meet again soon with new projects..."
