Singer Gülçin Ergül: If something happens to me, don't let me leave with regrets

Gülçin, who has made a name for herself with tracks such as "Bir Tanecik Aşkım," "Hoş Geldin," and "Ara Ara," occasionally makes headlines with her statements. Gülçin Ergül stated that she does not feel safe. 

Gülçin Ergül's social media post is as follows:

“I have experienced many things that triggered my safety and put me in danger. Traumatic things… I didn't reflect them here. I have been abused. Know that, as you already know, I am someone who does not use alcohol, cigarettes, or anything of the sort; this is something known by those around me. I have always said in interviews that I pay attention to these things to protect my voice.

If something happened that left me in any traumatic situation without my knowledge, I want you to know that it was not my responsibility or within my consciousness. Today, as another woman left in unsafe situations, I need to be protected and supported.

I am truly going through difficult days because I need to change my life completely and fundamentally in order to be protected. I wanted to isolate myself by receiving mental support. I want to protect my boundaries. If something happens to my cats or if something happens to me, don't let me leave with regrets. I came here because this is where I could take refuge.”
