Singer Tan Taşçı obtains restraining order against obsessive fan

Claiming that Nurşan Ç. has been following him and sending him messages every hour, singer Tan Taşçı stated in his petition that he has been subjected to severe psychological and cyber harassment and can no longer tolerate the situation.

Singer Tan Taşçı had previously filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office against his fan, Nurşan Ç., alleging that she had been sending him messages on social media that reached the level of obsession.

STARTED FOLLOWING HIM PHYSICALLY

According to the report in Hürriyet, Tan Taşçı, disturbed by the messages, asked Nurşan Ç. who she was via social media. Following this message, Nurşan Ç. began to physically follow the famous pop singer.

Nurşan Ç. began causing disturbances by watching the famous singer's concerts from the front row. The artist's lawyer, Serkan Toper, stated, "Due to Nurşan Ç.'s stalking and harassment, my client has been subjected to psychological violence and is concerned for his safety."

LAWSUIT FILED SEEKING 2 YEARS IN PRISON

Following Tan Taşçı's complaint, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against Nurşan Ç., seeking up to 2 years in prison.

The Family Court also issued a 3-month restraining order against Nurşan Ç.

Claiming that Nurşan Ç. continued to send harassing messages despite the protection order, Tan Taşçı applied to the court again to request protection once more.

Taşçı's lawyer stated, "My client can no longer tolerate this situation, and his mental health is deteriorating further."

The court extended the precautionary measure, ruling that Nurşan Ç. must not approach the singer's location for a period of 1 month.
