Statement from Buse Terim on Volkan Bahçekapılı: 'We will be in touch for life'

Buse Terim, the younger daughter of technical director Fatih Terim and Fulya Terim, married businessman Volkan Bahçekapılı in a grand wedding in 2014.

The famous couple welcomed their first child, Nil, in 2016, and their second daughter, Naz, in 2018.

After 10 years of marriage, the couple stopped following each other on their social media accounts in recent months. Following this move, Terim and Bahçekapılı, who were rumored to be separating, gave their love another chance.

It has emerged that the pair, who could not sustain their relationship even after a second chance, have ended their 10-year marriage by mutual agreement.

The uncontested divorce case filed by Buse Terim on the grounds of the 'shaking of the foundation of the marital union' was heard at the Istanbul 3rd Family Court last March.

'NORMAL THINGS'

Attending an event last night, Buse Terim spoke for the first time after the divorce.

The famous figure responded to questions from the press regarding the separation as follows:

"The reason is not very important, in my opinion. Just as getting married is a very normal thing, separating and divorcing are also normal things. We are parents, we have two daughters, so we will be in touch for life for their sake."
