Statement from Edis regarding the arrest warrant
Singer Edis has issued his first statement following the issuance of an arrest warrant against him as part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities.
The drug and prostitution investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into famous figures continues without slowing down.
The list of detained celebrities, which includes Duman lead singer Kaan Tangöze, Murat Dalkılıç, İsmail Hacıoğlu, Hakan Kakız, and Survivor champion Adem Kılıçcı, has become a trending topic on social media.
It was revealed that an arrest warrant had been issued for Edis, who was also on the list, because he had traveled abroad yesterday. Edis made his first statement just moments ago following the news of the warrant.
Announcing that he would cut short his long-planned vacation and return to the country as soon as possible, Edis stated, "I am ready to do whatever is necessary in all official processes regarding this matter. I have no connection to the mentioned issues. My conscience is clear, and yours should be too."
