Statement from Funda Arar on Haluk Levent and Ahbap: 'I wondered, has he changed?'
Funda Arar stated that she did not make donations to the Ahbap Association, noting that she delivered her aid through her own means.
While the investigation into the Ahbap Association continues to be a subject of public debate, singer Funda Arar has made a notable statement. As a guest on Fatih Altaylı's program, Arar said that she did not channel her aid through Ahbap during the earthquake period.
Regarding whether she donated to the association, Arar stated, "I did not deposit a single penny into the Ahbap Association." Noting that she delivered her aid through her own channels, the artist also expressed that she did not trust Haluk Levent.

In her statement, Funda Arar said, "I made my own donations. He was a name with a known past and history. Since we knew what was being said about him in the industry, it didn't seem very convincing to me. Then, when I saw the aid, I thought, 'Has he changed?'"
Touching upon the aid provided following the February 6 earthquakes, Arar recalled that many people had made donations and described her disappointment. The famous singer said, "So many people are depositing money, I thought surely no one would dare to do something like this. One thinks that when so many people are in such a victimized state after the February 6 earthquakes, this wouldn't be done either. It is a great shame."
