Statement from Gülben Ergen, targeted by pro-government media: 'Drown in your own malice!'

Singer Gülben Ergen held the opening ceremony for the 60th kindergarten established under the "Çocuklar Gülsün Diye" (Let Children Smile) Association, of which she is the founder and president, in Adıyaman. Ergen, who has now opened her third kindergarten in the city, stated in her speech at the ceremony, "In a period when there is so much evil on the country's agenda, 'Çocuklar Gülsün Diye' continues to shine like a cluster of light."

A notable claim emerged on social media regarding moments during the opening event when people were dancing the halay. It was alleged that Gülben Ergen had intentionally avoided holding the hand of a woman wearing a headscarf standing next to her.
