Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sungur, Chief Physician of the hospital where actor Nuri Alço is staying, made a statement. Sungur said, "When I visited him today, he was smiling, talking, and his morale was very high. At this stage, his life is not in danger."
The treatment of 73-year-old film actor Nuri Alço, who fell ill in Eskişehir, continues in the Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit of Eskişehir City Hospital.
The hospital's Chief Physician, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sungur, announced at a press conference that Alço's treatment process has been ongoing at their hospital since April 7.
Stating that Alço has 3 primary health issues, Sungur noted that he experienced neurological problems in the initial stage.
Reporting that an MRI taken due to complaints of nausea and vomiting revealed millimetric bleeding in the posterior region of the brain, and that this condition is currently stable, Sungur said, "There is no loss of strength, no problem with his speech, and he is receiving his treatment."
Sungur stated that Alço had previously undergone bypass and heart valve surgery, and therefore, he has been experiencing issues related to heart rhythm disorders and heart rate.
Explaining that the necessary intervention for this is ongoing, Sungur provided information that he is in a stable condition at this stage with diuretic and rhythm disorder treatments.

'HIS LIFE IS NOT IN DANGER AT THIS STAGE'
Touching upon Nuri Alço's general health status, Sungur noted the following:
"I visited him. He can talk and is breathing more comfortably. Intermittent oxygen therapy continues. Due to his heart problem, he had an infection in his lungs. Antibiotic treatment for this is also ongoing.
The series of events that began on Friday is more stable and better as of today. Hopefully, we will give better news to his loved ones. At this stage, his life is not in danger. When I visited him today, he was smiling, talking, and his morale was very high. He sends his greetings to his loved ones."
Alço's wife, Burcu Alço, also conveyed her thanks to Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sungur, and the healthcare staff.
Stating that they are going through a very difficult process, Alço said, "Please do not withhold your prayers. Because Nuri is very precious and valuable to me, his family, and his loved ones. Please do not stop praying."
