The singer's daughter, Türkü Akbayram, has denied claims that Edip Akbayram has passed away and provided information regarding her father's health status.
75-year-old Edip Akbayram, who suffered an internal hemorrhage after falling at his home, was taken to the University of Health Sciences Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital and admitted to intensive care.
It was stated that the artist's health condition remained serious after he was taken back to intensive care following his first surgery, which lasted approximately 1 hour.
Edip Akbayram, who underwent another operation, continues to receive treatment in intensive care. However, in the last few hours, claims have emerged on social media that the famous artist has passed away.
His daughter, Türkü Akbayram, denied these claims, stating: "His health condition is improving with every passing minute. He is expected to be woken up tomorrow."
