Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg has described the blockbuster film 'Dune: Part Two' as a 'visual epic.' Spielberg stated, "It is one of the most brilliant science fiction films I have ever seen."
The science fiction series "Dune," directed by Denis Villeneuve, with its first installment released in 2021 and the second in 2024, has achieved both box office success and critical acclaim for its dramatic structure.
The 77-year-old American director Steven Spielberg declared "Dune: Part Two" a "visual epic" in a recent interview and described the film as "one of the most brilliant science fiction films I have ever seen."
Speaking about the sandworm scene, Spielberg added, addressing Villeneuve, "This is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. You made the desert look like a liquid."
GROSSED 570 MILLION DOLLARS
Spielberg also showered praise on Denis Villeneuve, who directed both "Dune" films, and said that Villeneuve's name would be added to the list of "science fiction filmmakers who build incredible and unique worlds."
Since its release, the film has grossed approximately 240 million dollars in the US and 570 million dollars worldwide.
