Famous singer İrem Derici has made headlines with allegations that she was detained this morning. It was learned that Derici will also have her statement taken on charges of "encouraging the use of narcotic substances" as part of a large-scale operation conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command, which also involves numerous other famous names.

BLOOD SAMPLE TO BE TAKEN

According to the information obtained, İrem Derici will be taken to a health center following the detention procedure to have a blood sample taken. It was reported that the operation includes famous names such as Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Kubilay Aka, Kaan Yıldırım, Hadise Açıkgöz, Berrak Tüzünataç, Duygu Özaslan Mutaf, Demet Evgar Babataş, Zeynep Meriç Aral Keskin, Özge Özpirinçci, Mert Yazıcıoğlu, Feyza Altun, Derin and Deren Talu, Ziynet Sali, Birce Akalay, Metin Akdülger, and Ceren Moray Orcan.

It was stated that all these individuals have been taken to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command for their statements to be recorded and for biological samples to be collected.

Following the news of the detention, another detail regarding İrem Derici has emerged. It was learned that the famous singer was set to get engaged to her partner, Melih Kunukçu, today.

Derici had received a marriage proposal from her partner last August while performing at the wedding of her close friends Burak Bulut and Eda Sakız. It was learned that the couple had completed their preparations and were planning to exchange engagement rings in a simple ceremony to be held among family members.
