Striking statements from Deniz Çakır regarding stray animals

Famous actress Deniz Çakır’s statements on Hülya Avşar’s YouTube program and her stance on stray animals have found a wide echo on social media.

Touching upon the 2018 trial in which she was accused of insulting women wearing headscarves and subsequently acquitted, Çakır stated that she is open to portraying a woman wearing a headscarf and that playing the challenges of different lifestyles is an adventure for her.

Furthermore, Çakır noted the following:

"Sentences are coming out of people's mouths regarding putting stray animals to sleep. Put me to sleep first, I am very okay with that. I do not want to live in a place where this is done. There is no difference between a child and a cat on the street."
