Tanyeli, whose real name was Öznur Kral, had been battling pancreatic cancer for a long time.

The famous dancer, who had been receiving hospital treatment for over 2.5 years, closed her eyes to life at the age of 54.

Tanyeli last shared an update about her health on her social media account on February 27, stating, "I am in the hospital; if God wills, I will be discharged today or tomorrow, God willing."
