Targeted by Israel, Hadid removed from advertising campaign

One of those who has not remained silent regarding the oppression Israel has been carrying out in Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023, is the world-famous Palestinian-origin model Bella Hadid. Most recently, Hadid was chosen as the face of a new advertising campaign by the world-leading sportswear brand Adidas, which highlights the 1972 Munich Olympics.

However, following this development, both Hadid and Adidas were once again targeted by Israel.

"PROMOTES ANTISEMITIC CONSPIRACIES"

On July 18, Israel shared the Adidas advertisements featuring Hadid on its official X account and used the following expressions:

"Adidas recently launched a new campaign for their shoes, highlighting the 1972 Munich Olympics. During the Munich Olympics, 11 Israelis were murdered by Palestinian terrorists. Guess who the face of their campaign is? Bella Hadid, a half-Palestinian model who has a history of spreading antisemitism and calling for violence against Israelis and Jews. She and her father frequently promote blood libels and antisemitic conspiracies against Jews. @Adidas, do you have any comment?"
