Taylor Swift becomes an author: The novel she wrote at 14 is set to be published

It has been revealed that world-famous American singer Taylor Swift is set to become an author.

The singer, who has completed her European concerts as part of the Eras Tour, is reported to have written a book titled "A Girl Called Girl."

The book, which the singer wrote while still in her early teens, tells the story of a mother who wanted a son instead of a daughter.

Swift was only 14 when she wrote the story, but it had never been brought to light.

SHE BEGAN WRITING BEFORE HER MUSIC CAREER

It was known that the draft of the novel had been kept by Swift's family. The star has registered the title and rights of her first novel as a trademark. According to The Sun, the new trademark covers merchandise and audio versions of the book.

The singer had previously stated that she began writing the book before her music career took off.

During her 2012 tour, she mentioned that all her friends were in Pennsylvania at the time, leaving her with "nothing to do," which led her to start writing the book.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift headed to London following the cancellation of her Vienna concerts. Meeting with approximately 92,000 fans at the famous Wembley Stadium, the star set a new record with her "Eras" tour.

Performing 8 concerts at Wembley Stadium this summer, the singer surpassed the record set by Michael Jackson with his "Bad" tour in 1988.

Swift became the singer to perform the highest number of concerts at Wembley within a single tour.

On stage, the singer said, "You have made me the first artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour. We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for that."
